1.Master Degree in Economics/Statistics/Commerce/Mathematics or Honours Degree in Economics/Statistics/Commerce/Mathematics
with 5(five) years experience in Government Accounting/Banking/Statistical works.
2.Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering from any University/Institution.
3.Degree Holder in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent .
4.At least 2nd class Master Degree holders in Commerce and having B.ED.
5.At least 2nd class Master Degree holders in Commerce with Accounts as one of the subjects and having B.ED.
6.At least 2nd class Master Degree holders in Commerce with Business Studies as one of the subjects and having B.ED.
7.At least 2nd class Master Degree in the subject and having B.ED.
8.Graduate in Arts,Science,Commerce with Statistics , Economics, Computer Science as one of the subject in the Degree Course.
9.Master Degree in Social Work (MSW)/PHD in the field of Mental Health preferably with 5 years experience in the field of Mental Health from recognized Institutions.
10.Graduate in Arts/Science /Commerce from any recognized University.
11.B.Sc Computer Science OR BCA 3(three) years with Class XII OR CSE Diploma 3(three) years.
12.3 (three) years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.
13.Graduate in any stream with Sociology or Social Works from any recognized University.
14.3 (three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.
15.3 (three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.
16, 17, 18.3 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.
19.3 (three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.

(1) Auditors in the office of the Director of Local Fund Audit.
(2) Assistant Auditors in the office of the Director of Local Fund Audit who has rendered not less than 4 years of continuous service as Assistant Auditor on the date of advertisement who have successfully completed and passed the course of training conducted by the Director of Accounts & Treasuries.

Age Limit:

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 2 7 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5years for candidates belonging to SC/ST. No upper age limit for candidates already in Meghalaya Government Service provided they entered Service within the prescribed age limit.

Pay Scale for PSC Recruitment:

Rs 17,000-470-20290-EB-560-25330-760-33690/- pm. (Pre revised) For Post 1 to 3.
Rs 15,700-390-18,430-EB-510- 23,020-690- 30,610/pm. (Pre revised) For Post 4 to 7.
Rs 14,700 – 370-17,290-EB-480 -21,610-650- 28,760/-pm (Pre revised) For Post 8 to 9.
Rs 14,100-350-16550-EB-460-20690-620-27510/- pm plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules. (Pre revised) For Post 10 to 19.
Rs 16,300-410-19,170-EB-530-23,940-720-31,860/-pm. (Pre revised) For Post 20.

Selection Process :

The final selection/recommendation of suitable candidates against the vacancies notified in this Advertisement shall be made by the Commission through any of the following processes.
1. Typing Speed, English Composition and Stenography Test, in recruitment to post of Typist and Stenographer (All Grades) as the case may be.
2.
I. Written Examination (Where syllabus has been provided by concerned department) Personal Interview.
II. Screening Test -> Personal Interview.
III. Screening Practical Test -> Personal Interview.
IV. Preliminary Screening Test –> Main Examination -> Personal Interview.
V. Physical Efficiency Test Preliminary Screening Test Main Examination -> Personal Interview.
VI. Any other method as may be decided by the Commission

Application Fee for PSC Recruitment:

FEE (Inclusive of Examination Fee) Non-Refundable:
Fee @ prescribed in the Table below is required to be paid on submission of the Application Form. This amount may be paid through MPSC Challan. The original copy of the Fee Challan (MPSC copy) should be attached with the Application Form.

For posts at Sl. No.1,2,3 – Rs 460/-
For posts at Sl.No 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 & 20 – Rs 350/-
Half the rate for SC/ST who are permanent resident of the State of Meghalaya.

For Persons with Physical Disabilities (PWDs).Application Fee is exempted subject to furnishing of Disability Certificate to the Commission.( as per Notification No. PER (AR).150/88/Pt.I/ 43 Dated 29 th April, 2015.
